Ottawa, Friday, April 26, 2019 – MP Tony Clement is monitoring the situation, as the towns of Bracebridge and Huntsville affected by the most devastating flooding since 2013, have declared state of emergency this week. MP Tony Clement remains in constant communication with Mayors Graydon Smith and Scott Aitchison in Bracebridge and Huntsville to assess the needs of constituents and assist with any emergencies they might have with regards to federal programs, such as employment insurance, new documents, social insurance number, access to information or any guaranteed income supplement, etc. “I am standing with all of my constituents who are facing difficult situations resulting from the damages of the flooding. This is not an easy situation and my staff is ready to help with any need they might have to get back to a normal life as soon as possible. “Said MP Tony Clement. MP Tony Clement will also be touring flooded areas on Friday afternoon to assess the impact of water levels as they continue to rise with more rain on the forecast for until late Friday.
