Tony Clement, MP for Parry Sound-Muskoka, recently joined the citizens of historic MacTier in celebrating the town’s 100th anniversary.
The anniversary was kicked off with horseshoe and dart tournaments at the Legion, a teen dance at the Community Centre and continued on with a community breakfast, ceremonies, displays, entertainment and games. After a regatta, a community bbq and an First Nations’ corn roast, the weekend celebrations ended with a fireworks display and festival finale.
In this photo, Tony is at the event with “Mr. MacTier” who is holding the “key to MacTier”.
